Earthquakes on Your Mind?

Come see what your community is doing to be prepared in the event of a major disaster. you are invited to participate in the Seattle Emergency Communications Hubs Drill this Saturday, June 11, 9 AM – noon (see location & time details below) Join your neighbors in a simulated earthquake neighborhood response drill of the Seattle Emergency Communications Hubs. The larger Cascadia Rising Drill, conducted by state, county and city agencies is running all this week, and Ballard is doing its part to be prepared by conducting drills at Ballard Commons Park and Ballard Shilshole Marina this Saturday.

Stop by and ask to be “put to work”. Volunteering as a Citizen Actor, you will draw a short script from the Bowl of Misfortunes and put the crew to the test.
