Have you been curious about the art popping up along the fence at the future Avalon Ballard and former Sunset Bowl site at 1400 N.W. Market St? This is a fun community art project spearheaded by 2 East Ballard artists, Anne Bumgartner and Pam Gray. They’ve received a grant from Seattle Print Arts earlier this year and more recently, a Small Sparks grant from Department of Neighborhoods to do a recycled art installation. The ebca have been collaborating with Anne and Pam, along with Groundswell NW (their fiscal sponsor) to implement the community engagement portion of their project.
